As part of the FINNO platform, the MontEENegro Consortium, a member of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), organised the online webinar “Doing Business with Montenegro” on 24 July 2026, highlighting business, investment and partnership opportunities that Montenegro offers to international companies and organisations.
The webinar brought together representatives of SMEs, companies, business support organisations and other interested participants from Montenegro and abroad, with the aim of presenting the country as an attractive destination for doing business, investing and establishing international partnerships.
Throughout the event, participants gained insights into Montenegro’s business and investment environment, opportunities for international cooperation, and the services provided by the Enterprise Europe Network to support SMEs in their internationalisation journey and in finding reliable business partners abroad. Particular attention was given to successful examples of international cooperation and opportunities for connecting companies through EEN matchmaking activities.
The webinar was opened by Dr Ivana Tomašević, Director of the Business Start-up Centre Bar. In the introductory session, Tanja Radusinović, Director of the Project Department at the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, presented the role of the Enterprise Europe Network and the FINNO platform in supporting SMEs in expanding their business internationally.
Aleksandra Božović from the Montenegrin Investment Agency presented Montenegro’s business and investment potential, highlighting the country’s market opportunities, key investment sectors and possibilities for developing new business activities.
The programme also featured examples of successful international cooperation. Dr Nikola Abramović from the Faculty of Business Economics and Law Bar shared experiences from international cooperation within the LANDS project, while Ana Curk presented the Meditera project, funded through the EmBRACE programme, as an example of support for innovative and internationally oriented business initiatives.
The final part of the webinar focused on concrete opportunities available through the Enterprise Europe Network for companies interested in finding business partners in Montenegro and abroad. Ana Filipović from the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro presented EEN support services, including business matchmaking, access to international databases of business offers and requests, and assistance in identifying suitable partners for developing joint projects.
The webinar concluded with an interactive Q&A session, giving participants an opportunity to further discuss potential cooperation, access to international markets and the support available through the FINNO platform and the Enterprise Europe Network.
By organising the “Doing Business with Montenegro” webinar, the MontEENegro Consortium continues its efforts to support the internationalisation of Montenegrin SMEs, strengthen international business cooperation and connect local companies with potential partners across Europe and beyond.
