In cooperation with EEN2EIC, this workshop targets start-ups who are interested in reaching investors and would like to check their investment readiness.
Start-ups will have a chance to hear, in the introduction, about what investors care about, what founders usually get wrong, what investors love to see, and about EEN2EIC Investment Readiness Scorecard (IRS) assessment tool.
The main part of the workshop will be conducting an online IRS assessment individually by each start-up with the support of the trainer. There are 39 questions that covers the 6 critical areas that investors analyze during due diligence:
- Team,
- Product and Technology,
- Market and Traction,
- Customer Development and Validation,
- Business Mode, and
- Finance.
Each question has four possible answers. Max time for doing the test is 20 min.
Each start-up will receive their IRS Report on email during the workshop and will not be publicly shown. The IRS Report provides:
- VC-Grade Analysis – Assessment framework based on actual investor due diligence criteria
- Actionable Insights – Specific recommendations to improve your investment readiness
- Progress Tracking – Detailed scoring system to measure and track improvements
- Strategic Roadmap – Clear next steps prioritized by impact and feasibility.
The workshop will be finished with how the EEN can help startups to be ready for investors as well as with PODIM presentation – leading startup and tech event in CEE, which matches start-ups with investors – inviting start-ups to attend PODIM event 11-13.05.2026. in Maribor, Slovenia.
